ROBERT PARKER LIVE
STARCADIAN LIVE
Friday May 25 at Knitting Factory

In our little synthwave world, Robert Parker is kind of a big deal. This Swedish genius (yes, genius) is Giorgio Moroder meets John Hughes meets Daft Punk meets Valerie Collective meets Phil Collins meets Miami Vice. Here's a teaser for his new album "End Of The Night" (with amazing visuals by the unbelievable Florian Renner). And here's a couple of other links to get you caught up on his music - here, here and here. Mr. Parker will be playing a live set at this very special, rare, New York show.

And as if that wasn't enough, we also have Starcadian performing live. This enigmatic artist is capable of making some incredible music. We hate to overuse the Daft Punk comparison, but I guess we just did. Starcadian's slowed down house beats, vocoders and digitalized emotion combine to create something truly special. Check him out here and here.
